A few of my favs - Narrowing down a career into a few images is difficult. I’ve had some great experiences in some very diverse design environments, from TV and magazine which is fast turnaround, to corporate and branding where your final ideas are locked in for years. WordPress, Photoshop and illustration are some of my specialty areas. Word and PowerPoint are valuable skills but rarely design portfolio worthy. Below you’ll find a small sample of my work to demonstrate diversity and some of my favorite pieces.
Bodhi Events animation: Based on existing static logo provided. I’ve embedded this animated swf vector file created from animator CC. The file size is small, sharp and loads fast which is ideal. The disadvantage is that swf files aren’t currently supported by mobile..only desktop computers. Hopefully that changes soon. The way around it is to have 2 optional elements stacked in a website column. One element is a text box containing the flash embed code. This is set to display only on desktop. The alternate element is an image file, which is set to display on phone and tablet.This can be a static image or an animated gif.
Ty the knot: Logo design and branding. A contemporary Noosa Civil Celebrant needed something fresh and modern to stand out from a conventionally conservative industry. Ty Sutherland had the right name. Now all he needed was the right look.

stufly - music album 1 artwork. Concept and design. Photoshop illustration based on an image of the artist’s face. The idea is based on a butterfly painting that 2 ideas become one in a collaboration of music. View website

Based on the vibrant colours of the first album and artwork. The idea is to convey the fresh and modern sound of the music with a loose representation of digital eq. View website
Poster for internal use at BMF Advertising - Melbourne cup and Employee Assistance - The brief for both of these pieces was to incorporate the BMF corporate colours of red and grey, but without obvious logos or branding images - Image selection, concept, design, typography and finished art.
